Thus, the dust jacket and page edges are dirty while the interior is clean and tight. The spine of the book indicates the publisher is Barse and the spine of the dust jacket indicates the publisher is Grosset & Dunlap. Barse went bankrupt in the early 1930s and Grosset & Dunlap acquired their titles and remaining stock. Thus, it would appear as if this book is part of the stock that Grosset & Dunlap obtained and they added a new jacket listing all of their current titles. This is not an ex-library copy.
