Hardcover book with deep blue cloth-covered boards, an embossed tree design to front cover, & gilt lettering to spine, in 172 pages with endpapers & internal pen-and-ink illustrations, including 10 full-page ones, by Paul Lantz. Condition is VG: very clean, binding strong & straight, hinges secure. Pages creamy white with a whisper of age-appropriate tanning to outer edges. Former owner's name & old price crossed out on ffep; NO other writing, underlining, or highlighting; not ex-lib.Only other flaw is rubbing to extremities & significant bumping & fading to all corners, with no cloth loss. The unclipped DJ (with orig. $2.00 price intact) is only Good: generally bright & clean, but with moderate-heavy rubbing to all extremities & paper loss at both ends of spine & all corners.
