Aggiungi al carrelloSoft cover. Condizione: Very Good. 1st Edition. First Edition (NAP). 'First State Writers 1975 Anthology'. This is a rather special book. The reason isn't because there are only a couple of copies for sale on the Internet. The reason is that it is Signed by the illustrator e. jean lanyon (she doesn't capitalize the first letters… in her name). And I couldn't find another book that she had signed, including this one. Ms. lanyon is an illustrator/artist and she is a poet. In fact, she was the Poet Laureate of Delaware for 22 years. She has contributed a poem, 'lost wilmington', to this book (apparently her feelings about Capitalization extend to all words.those poets). You can see the book's covers in the photographs I've provided. They are in very good condition. There is that one spot of soiling near the bottom edge of the front cover. There is a tiny crease at the top right-hand corner of the front as well. This stapled soft cover is very solidly bound, absolutely no issues in that regard. And scrolling through the pages, I didn't see any soiling at all. The pages are also in very good condition. With the exception of Ms. lanyon's autograph, no one has written their name or anything else on any page in the book. And there aren't any markings or attachments. I counted 27 poems and stories by 18 poets/writers. There is also a preface by Gloria T. Hull and the book closes with four pages of 'Notes on the Authors' compiled by Carolyn H. Caufman, who has also contributed a poem. All told, this book is 60 pages long. e. jean lanyon (illustratore). Signed by Illustrator(s).
