The author was Chief Stock Detective, operating from Helena Montana, at the time this book was published. Six Guns 1294 says, "Scarce." "Contains material on Soapy Smith, the Wild Bunch, train ro…bbers in Montana, and Henry Starr." The author was once with the Pinkerton National Detective Agency, and also was considered an "Identification Expert Criminologist," as well as being a member of several police and professional associations. He was available to undertake personal assignments. Moderate crease to front panel, and light wear to fore-edges, else very good copy. Rare.
