Hardcover. Condizione: Very Good. Condizione sovraccoperta: Very Good. 1st Edition. Printed in the U.S.A. [Date from the copyright page.] Stated First Edition. First Printing. Frontispiece, Editor's Preface, Curriculum Vitae, Introduction, End Notes, Tillich Bibliography (by Peter H. John), List of Contributors; xi, 399 [5] pages. The original dark-red cloth is very good with gilt lettering particularly bright on the gently-bumped spine. The interior is creamy-bright, despite light scattered spotting on preliminary pages, including the title page, dust-spotting to the top-edge, and a line of age-toning on the endpapers. It is completely clean and unmarked. The original printed dust jacket is unclipped ($7.50) but shows some signs of shelf wear. [Please see my 12 images of the actual book.] "Commenting on such diverse areas of cultural life as psychiatry, language, music, science, philosophy, world order, etc., these men make their own original contributions to a critique that further extends the seminal influence of Dr. Tillich, in whose spirit they write."---from the flap. As with every book from my father's collection, tipped-in at the front is the small, attractive, acid-free bookplate pictured on my homepage. All books are wrapped with special care and are shipped promptly with tracking; international sales sent via global priority, also with tracking.
