Published by the Washington County Historical Society in Fayetteville, Arkasas in 1961, this item is a treasure trove of this confederate soldier and other local history concerning Washington County in the Civil War. Includes a roster of Company B who enlisted when it was formed in Fayetteville in October 1861. Twenty- eight letters from Private McCollom during the Civil War provide some interesting insights from this conferate soldier in the field.
