Pinchon; paper mildly age-toned but strong and of good quality--only the front end paper shows chipping and there are closed tears to t.p.; gauffered edges; binding firm, but unstained pictorial color cover, with tears, has been clumsily reattached with scotch tape. This lovely volume would greatly reward rebinding, and front end paper could be replaced. Although there is every indication this is the first edition, the back cover reads "2e Edition." Perhaps it is second printing for trade, following the limited edition of 62 exemplars noted on back of t.p.
