Fotografia
Collection of 14 vintage borderless single weight studio still photographs from the 1961 Italian-French film. Action sequences, picketers, Delon and his compatriots, and a charming candid of Barbara Lass, are present. Numerical annotations, and a few with actor names, on the versos in manuscript pencil, along with the stamp of photographer Pierluigi Praturlon. The film's premiere was at Cannes, and earned director Clément a Palme d'Or nomination. In 1921, Ulysses (Delon) enrolls in the Italian Fascist party, and his initiation is to gain the trust of local printer, Fossati (Cervi). Fossati's family and beautiful daughter (Lass) are anarchists, contesting Ulysses' beliefs, and he ultimately decides to forge his own political path. Set in Rome, shot there on location. 7 x 9.25 inches. Near Fine, slight curling.
