Hardcover. Condizione: Very Good. So this is interesting: this was the author's own copy. She signed her name at the top of the front inside cover and affixed her own bookplate (a rather dramatic one) containing her printed name right below it (see second photo). This book is an updating or revision (with added chapters) of a book she and two co-authors (Estelle H. Davis and Adele L. Carll) wrote in 1931. That book was titled Voice and Speech Problems. This will be the Only signed (so to speak) copy of either of the two books for sale on the Internet. You can see the blue covers in the photos. They are clean and in pretty good shape. One bottom corner has a small spot of rub-through, the other a little bit of fraying. The book is square and very solidly bound from cover to cover. The pages are nicely tight. I'm scrolling through them now without seeing any soiling. I'm also not seeing any turned-down corner creases or dogeared corners. There is a small vague crease off the top edge of some latter pages, quite minor. There are no markings in the book. There is no writing other than the author's signature. No attachments other than the author's bookplate. There's a small shadow of what was likely a tiny sticker on the rear side of the blank rear end paper. There's very little wrong with this book.
