From the archive of camera operator Albert Meyers. Columbia Pictures stamp on the verso. Albert Myers, usually credited as Al Myers, was a noted camera operator in Hollywood for over 50 years beginning in the late 1920s, credited in 30 films between 1927 and 1978. Notable in his filmography are "The Virginian" (1946), "Carmen Jones" (1954), "The Man with the Golden Arm" (1955), and "The Defiant Ones" (1958). Based on the 1962 spy novel by Donald Hamilton. Women of the world mourn the tragic death of handsome secret agent Matt Helm (Dean Martin)-faked, naturally, so that he can find the inventor of the Helium laser beam and kingpin of the underground criminal organization Big-O (Karl Malden). The second of four films in the Matt Helm series starring Dean Martin, preceded by "The Silencers" (1966), and followed by "The Ambushers" (1967) and "The Wrecking Crew" (1969). Shot on location in England, Monte Carlo, and France. 10 x 8 inches. Light edgewear, else Near Fine.
