Jahrhunderts. Dies war Eugen Bleuler, dem Direktor des Burgh…ölzli (1898 1927), der heutigen Psychiatrischen Universitätsklinik Zürich, und einer Reihe seiner Mitarbeiter zu verdanken. Sie waren die ersten klinischen Psychiater, die sich intensiv mit Freuds Psychoanalyse auseinandersetzten. An C. G. Jung schrieb Freud daher voller Hoffnung: 'Ich gedachte, die psychoanalytische Bewegung zu organisieren, ihren Mittelpunkt nach Zürich zu verlegen.'Seither sind mehr als hundert Jahre vergangen. In Auseinandersetzung mit Freuds Psychoanalyse und in Abgrenzung von ihr entstanden wichtige eigenständige psychodynamische Richtungen und engagierte Diskussionsforen. Die vorliegende Publikation ist der Verortung der Psychoanalyse in psychoanalytischen Schulen und an der Universität gewidmet. Beiträge von Theoretikern und Praktikern geben Einblick in deren vielfältige Entwicklungen. Vertreten sind die Freud sche Psychoanalyse am Freud Institut und am Psychoanalytischen Seminar Zürich (PSZ), die Analytische Psychologie C. G. Jungs am C. G.
