A daily journal, covering the period from May to November of 1814, of a voyage to York Factory, with extended observations on the Inuit and Cree (Knisteneau) Indians that inhabit the western shores of Hudson's Bay. Chappell also includes descriptions of the HBC posts and forts, and a Cree vocabulary.
