Rylov, and I. Bilibin. His studies at VKhUTEMAS under mentors such as Vladimir Favorsky and Pyotr Konchalovsky further shaped his artistic vision. Lekarenko's pivotal exploration of the Arctic in 1925 deeply influenced his work, leading to a portfolio rich in themes of rugged nature and the resilience of northern peoples. His post-war period was marked by a prolific output of landscapes, blending epic and lyrical styles, as seen in works like "Eastern Sayan" and "Twilight of the Yenisei." A skilled portraitist, he also captured the spirit of the northern inhabitants. Honored with the Order of the Badge of Honor, Lekarenko's distinguished career in art and education is a testament to his enduring impact on Soviet art. Signed.
