Every spread has the text of the story on one side, and a simple drawing with a caption on the other side. There are 424 pages, so that's a lot of little drawings. The textblock is qui…te browned, hinges at both endpapers a little cracked, but holding, a couple of pages have short closed tears to top edge, and there's a small knock in top of front board. Overall a very good copy of this novelty. Robert R. Weisman (illustratore).

Condition issues include: 6/15 - light wear and soiling to the edges, a small chip out of the upper left of the front cover at the spine, a couple of pages with small closed tears to the fore edge, and some soil spots on others; 6/29 - light soiling to the front cover with some small chips to the fore edge, a small chip to the upper right of the front cover through page 4, and light edge wear to the rear cover.
