Hardcover. Condizione: Very Good. Very Good Set of 4 Volumes, originally written during the seventeenth century; top edge gilt (still bright); lovely deckled foredge pages. NO dust jackets.Three quarter leather with green linen. Gilt spine titles and decorations (sharp and bright) with a statement of "Edition DeLuxe" at bottom of each spine edge. A period bookplate on each inside cover. Crown and feet of spine edges are frayed and chipped; all corner tips are gently worn. Interior pages are all clean, no markings at all. Volume I has a Over-extended interior hinge, but a very tight text block. Pepys original manuscript was written in shorthand. This edition 'Deciphered' by Rev. J. Smith. A lovely way to read this classic work. Suggest Media postage due to weight.

A little shaken and hint of toning to pages. A nice, if well used, set usual to find complete in four volumes.
