Half green morocco over marbled boards five raised bands to the spine with gilt frames and titles in the compartments, gilt edging to the morocco on the covers, marbled paste-downs and end-papers. Condition very good, corners and edges rubbed, frontispiece spotted, offsetting from frontis onto title page, pages slightly toned, slight offsetting from the other plates, a couple of spots in the margin of a couple of the plates else contents generally clean. With bookplate to the front paste-down of each volume of "Cromarty".
