Aggiungi al carrello0. Bruxelles, Musée du Livre, 1915 , in-4°, 28,5 x 21,5 cm, pp (621 - 632) . Leaves bound together with a silk tie, no wrapper ( as issued). Fine copy. All pages with a typographical border designed by Gérard Roosen. With lithographical in-text illustrations by Louis Titz .This is the 31-34th issue ( fascicule in French) of the…prestigeous Brussels' periodical devoted to the art of the book. It covers the whole subject : typography, lettering , binding, illustration. Its pre-war publications (before 1914) are rightly famous for the beautiful typographical execution. The project , animated by Henri Liebrecht, could rely on the aid of the main Brussels printing houses, paper and ink suppliers. ( e.g. Imprimerie Goossens, établ. Malvaux .). They published 4 issues per year ( fascicules ), some of these issues were accompanied by plates ( not on offer here ). The author tries to define the Belgian Art Nouveau style with the artist Louis Titz as an example. Very nice typography.
