Allerdings schlug der russische Zar gnadenlos zurück. Über 400 Hinrichtungen wurden vollstreckt. Die Verwaltung und die Justiz wurden komplett russifiziert. Weit über 10 000 Verurteilungen zur Zwangsarbeit und mehr als 18 000 Menschen wurden nach Sibirien verschleppt. Ein paar Jahrzehnte später 1939 überfiel Hitler das polnische Land. Kein Wunder, wenn sich das polnische Volk nicht sicher sein kann. Sie mussten ihre Identität über viele Jahrzehnte gegenüber Russland und Deutschland aufgeben. Jetzt sieht es besser aus. Seit Jahren beobachte ich von meiner fränkischen Heimat aus, wie US amerikanische Transportflugzeuge fast täglich gegen 18 Uhr von der Air Base Ramstein in Rheinland Pfalz nach Polen fliegen. Die West Ost grenze in Polen wird abgesichert. Hoffentlich hält der Friede noch sehr, sehr lange an. In the west Germany, in the east Russia. Poland was always in between. Russia conquered the entire Polish territory from 1815. The Russian tsars ruled the country until 1863. The Polish people now rebelled against foreign rule. However, the Russian tsar struck back mercilessly. Over 400 executions were carried out. The administration and the judiciary were completely Russified. Well over 10,000 convictions of forced labor and more than 18,000 people were deported to Siberia. A few decades later, in 1939, Hitler invaded the Polish country. No wonder if the Polish people cannot be sure. They had to give up their identity to Russia and Germany over many decades. It looks better now. For years now, from my home in Franconia, I have been watching US transport planes fly from Ramstein Air Base in Rhineland-Palatinate to Poland almost every day at around. Hopefully the peace will last a very, very long time.

Das gekochte Huhn musste sowieso eine Woche lang reichen. Huhn mit Nudeln und Soße. In der Pfanne angebratene Schenkel mit Kraut. Hühnerklein mit Kartoffeln und Soße. Elisabeth ließ sich jeden Tag etwas herzhaftes zu Mittag einfallen. Nur ihr Aberglaube machte ihr zu schaffen. Bis 6. Januar keine Hülsenfrüchte essen, keine Bohnen, keine Erbsen. Waschen und Wäsche aufhängen sollte sie bis Dreikönig auch nicht. So ein Unsinn sagte Ignaz. Dennoch wollte Elisabeth kein Risiko eingehen und den alten Kurs beibehalten. Da half das Kopfschütteln von ihrem Ignaz wenig. Was die Frau glaubte, danach hatte sich der junge Ehemann zu richten. In der Arbeitswoche hatte Ignaz beträchtlich zu tun. Trotzdem wünschte sich seine Frau, dass sie neben der Schmiede auch ein paar Hühner und Stallhasen mästen könnten. Weil alle Bewohner des Dorfes sich selbst versorgten, war es ein legitimer Wunsch von Elisabeth. Selbst der Pfarrer hielt sich ein Paar Hühner und einige Gänse. Ebenso der Schulmeister. Warum, so meinte sie, sollten wir uns nicht auch einige Tiere zulegen. So kam es auch. Ignaz zimmerte einen Hasenstall zusammen. Ich versorge die Tiere, erklärte sie ihrem Mann. Bestimmt kannst du auch einen Hühnerstall fertigen Es wurde Frühling 1881.
