Couverture rigide. Condizione: Très bon. Trois-Rivières, imprimé par Ludger Duvernay, 1822, couverture de carton recouverte de papier gris-verdâtre ??? (peut-être bleu à l'origine mais qui aura pâli avec le temps), dos de toile bleue probablement ajouté ultérieurement pour renforcir ou remplacer le dos d'origine, environ 17 X 10 cm, 108 pages au total (pagination continue pour les deux parties). La seconde partie a sa propre page de titre. La reliure a peu d'attraits mais est complète et solide (voir les images). À l'intérieur le corps du texte est en très bon état sans marques, inscriptions ou annotations au texte, sans rousseur, et sans déchirure aux pages. On ne notera que deux cachets à perforations au bas de la page de titre de la première partie et au bas de la dernière page de texte, un petit cachet numérique de 5 chiffres au bas de la page 3 (tableau des lettres de l'alphabet) et un cachet de la Bibliothèque nationale du Québec sur la première page vierge avec ajout ''élagué''. Au premier contre-plat on trouvera un vieil ex-libris de la bibliothèque Saint-Sulpice. Les charnières des deux pages de garde ont été renforcées avec un adhésif blanc. Enfin la première page vierge présente une certaine perforation ou déchirure (voir l'image). Ludger Duvernay ayant acquis son imprimerie en 1817 et s'étant occupé principalement d'imprimer des journaux, cet ouvrage est probablement parmi les premiers livres de son catalogue, je n'ai malheureusement pas trouvé de liste des publications de cet imprimeur.
