Furthermore Africa has been exploited by other nations and distressed by internal military and non-military conflicts. This is why most nations all over the world have identified the need of help, although it is sometimes done for their own purpose. This paper will focus on the EU development strategy and policy for the African continent. First of all I will explain the legal foundation and principles of the Union's Africa strategy. Secondly I'll try to identify the most important impacts on the changing relationship between Africa and the EU since the 1950s. This will be followed by a detailed insight into the history of common European Development Policy from the times of the EEC to the Treaty of Cotonou. After that I want to focus on the actual relationship, especially the Lisbon Declaration and the joint strategy for Africa. Last but not least there will be a short evaluation if this strategy is or even could be successful. In the end I will sum up my results and connect them to my own opinion.

Dazu werden die beiden Parteien kurz vorgestellt und ihre grundsätzliche europapolitische Ausrichtung dargelegt. Da die beiden Parteivorsitzenden die Politik ihrer Partei jeweils entscheidend prägen, und daher die Europapolitik ihrer Partei maßgeblich gestalten, sollen deren Rollen gesondert betrachtet werden. Besondere Bedeutung bei der Analyse der Europapolitiken der Parteien wird dabei, nach einer allgemeinen Darstellung der jeweiligen Grundausrichtung, den Themen der politischen Souveränität und der finanz- und wirtschaftspolitischen Zusammenarbeit zukommen. Schließlich wird untersucht in wie weit die beiden Parteien ihre europapolitischen Forderungen in der Koalition umsetzen konnten. Dazu sollen zunächst die Koalitionsvereinbarung und nachfolgend die tatsächliche Politik der ersten Monate betrachtet werden. Um diese gemeinsame Regierungspolitik besser bewerten zu können, wird dem ganzen eine kurze Einführung in die modelltheoretischen Grundlagen zur Bildung von und zum Regieren in Koalitionen vorangehen. Dabei spezialisiert sich dieser Teil der Arbeit vor allem auf die Behandlung kontroverser Themen durch Koalitionspartner. Anhand dieser Theorien lassen sich verschiedene Möglichkeiten zur Behandlung der Europapolitik in der Koalition ableiten, welche bei der Analyse der Koalitionspolitik hilfreich sein werden. Im letzten Teil der Arbeit findet eine abschließende Bewertung der gefundenen Ergebnisse statt. Hierbei geht es vor allem darum in wie weit die beiden Parteien jeweils die Europapolitik beeinflussen. Außerdem stellt sich die Frage wie sich die Europapolitik Großbritanniens dadurch verändert hat bzw. welche Veränderungen die zukünftige Koalitionsregierung noch bringen könnte.

Because of several error sources and other influences, the accuracy is limited or the signal may be blocked completely. Sensor fusion techniques are used to achieve better accuracy and to increase reliability. The most common integration method is an inertial navigation system (INS) aided with GPS measurements, processed by a Kalman filter. In this work two different GPS/INS integration methods are implemented, utilizing inertial sensors, odometer data and GPS measurements. The algorithms are designed to keep the computational complexity low and to be suitable for real time applications. The multi-rate property of the sensors is considered as well. Also an inertial sensor error analysis is performed. The results are presented by a MATLAB simulation, based on prior taken measurement data sets. 124 pp. Englisch.
