Die Briefe selbst diskutieren verschiedene philosophische Positionen nicht nur zum Messopfer. Zitiert und diskutiert werden Thesen von Platon, Augustinus, Campanella, Jan Hus, Maimonides u.a. Der erste Brief richtet sich sehr scharf gegen Baruch de Spinoza (de Spinosae deliriis), der als Feind des wahren Glaubens bezeichnet wird. - Druck auf besserem festem Papier, gebunden in schönes rot-goldenes Brokatpapier mit floraler und ornithologischer Verzierung. - Nur das Titelblatt nachgedunkelt, sonst sauber, Einband etwas berieben, an den Kanten und Ecken etwas beschabt, vorne mehr geblichen, dennoch sehr dekorativ.
