Bon état (avec une correction manuscrite par l'auteur, dos lég. frotté), pour cette édition co-publiée par Jean-Nicolas Barba (1769-1846).J.-N. Barba était un éditeur parisien qui s'était spécialisé dans l'édition théâtrale, après avoir repris le fonds d'un autre libraire, Claude-François Maradan (1762-1823). La vie de J.-N. Barba fut fertile en rebondissements : soldat puis déserteur, emprisonné sous la révolution puis évadé, condamnés plusieurs fois pour contrefaçons, publications licencieuses ou faillite. Il vit même son magasin détruit par un incendie (en 1828). Il finira par céder son fonds à son premier commis, Christophe Tresse. Ce fonds se retrouvera, bien des années plus tard, chez l'éditeur Stock (du nom de la belle-soeur de Ch. Tresse, Anne Stock, qui héritera de l'ensemble). Langue: Français. signé par l'auteur. …
