All books mailed with Delivery Confirmation in a heavy cardboard box. Gilt has faded from the front cover. Light wear at the spine ends. Contents are clean. Very good condition. The book is dedicated to the author's son "who gave his life off Savo Island November 13, 1942 while serving aboard the U. S. S. San Francisco." Many of the poems concern the Second World War and her departed son. There is no publication information in the book. Mrs. Lockwood was evidently living in Ohio when the book was published. Rare.
