The automatic inspection vision system gives the real-time inspection for product. This work shows the design of an automatic inspection vision system. The principle work of area scan camera is to compare image capturing with the base image for product surface which already stored in the host-computer. This comparison will decide if the product will pass or will be rejected. The required results then can be implemented by using the Matlab software to compare the images. The accepted and rejected operations are controlled by the microcontroller (PIC16F84A) that regulates the product rejection after the image processing. The principle work of line scan camera is scanning the product surface via multi-line capturing through multi-triggers generated by the encoder. The defect detection is obtained by the difference in the light intensity for the surface of product with defect or not; Where the results are shown graphically by the LabVIEW software. The results of the line scan and the area scan are dependent on the intensity of light reflected from the product surface.…

The proposed design was modeled mathematically, starting with the derivation of the velocity kinematics for any point on the system elements (Arm, Hand and Grasped object) from the base coordinate to the contact point coordinate. Le système de vision d'inspection automatique permet d'inspecter les produits en temps réel. Ce travail présente la conception d'un système de vision d'inspection automatique. Le principe de fonctionnement d'une caméra à balayage de zone consiste à comparer l'image capturée avec l'image de référence de la surface du produit déjà enregistrée dans l'ordinateur hôte. Cette comparaison permet de déterminer si le produit sera accepté ou rejeté. Les résultats requis peuvent ensuite être mis en oeuvre à l'aide du logiciel Matlab pour comparer les images. Les opérations d'acceptation et de rejet sont contrôlées par le microcontrôleur (PIC16F84A) qui régule le rejet du produit après le traitement de l'image. Le principe de fonctionnement de la caméra à balayage linéaire consiste à balayer la surface du produit via une capture multiligne grâce à des déclencheurs multiples générés par le codeur. La détection des défauts est obtenue par la différence d'intensité lumineuse entre la surface du produit présentant un défaut et celle qui n'en présente pas. Les résultats sont affichés graphiquement par le logiciel LabVIEW.
