Some other bruising on the crown and foot of the backs trip. INSIDE: on the flyleaf, a previous owner's name and an earlier price stamp. The pages are bright, but there are lots pf pencil notes and underlines throughout the text. Binding is strong but has obviously been opened many times. 614 pages plus 82-page vocabulary . Packaged using bubble wrap and a sturdy cardboard box. Tracking number provided for no extra cost. The gilt design is darkened, particularly on the spine. The internal binding is good, no hinge issues. No signatures or bookplates, no library markings. The only evidence of handwriting is on the front end page, we can just barely see where old pricing info was penciled in the corner and then later erased. The text pages are toned due to age and type of paper used. There is an issue with the end pages and pastedowns as they have darkened areas on them.
