Binding is square on all copies and hinges are intact for volume one and two; the front hinge of volume three is 3/4 split and both boards of volume four are completely disjointed, but included and easily repairable. Beautiful blue marbled text block is minimally faded on each volume--vibrant at the bottom. Spines are tanned and rubbed along all edges, but gilt and red & black decor is still bright.
