The spine is frayed at head and tail with small losses to cloth. Internally, hinges are cracking front and rear, and pages loosening, but all are still attached. End papers front and rear (poor quality paper used) are crumbling and front one is detached. Light spotting throughout. Inscribed, in ink, and first free page - 'Presented by Brig. General Lovett Midsummer 1918'. All colour plates are present and in good order, with their tissue protectors intact. Further black and white drawings within text. A suitable candidate for a re-bind. Signed by Illustrator(s).
