Pamphlet. Four panel brochure, 5.5x9 inches, very good condition. Issued as promotion for the author's "Who are the traitors to America?" Series statement on some copies: This Torpedo no. 1 for blasting holes through the iron curtain of lies which surrounds the American people.

Four-page brochure, dense text, 9.5x12.5 inches, fold-creased, evenly toned, mild wear else very good condition. Notes that much of the content is reprinted from "Action for Human Welfare." Critique of the presidential candidates and the media. "I propose that honest people must raise their swords against the tens-of-thousands of literary prostitutes who serve their payola masters by hammering lies into the American people day and night, year in and year out, in the Press and Pulpit and over the Radio and TV.".…

Pamphlet. 51p., 6x9 inches; faint toning on front, else in very good condition. Anti-rich, anti-Catholic, anti-red scare.

16p., staplebound self-wraps, folded promotional leaflet laid in. Entire pamphlet has a vertical crease and some crimping near the staples, also has sustained some offset browning. Leftwing construction of the onset of McCarthyism, probably derives some of its rhetoric from the 1947 conference in Beverly Hills ("Thought Control in U.S.A., the collected proceedings of the conference on the subject of thought control in the U S"). Maddy's is a fairly eloquent treatment, blurbed favorably by the likes of F. O. Mathiesson and Albert Guerard, see the promo leaflet laid in. Sample prose from p.10 : "This fact, that conspirators control the Press, Pulpit, and Radio, makes it imperative to expose the nature of that Thought Control which has become established over the American people by the American Zaibatsu. Thirteen Monopolies of America, which are similar in function to the eleven Zaibatsu of Japan, control and manipulate the means of mass-communication.".…
