Murray began her career as a ballroom dancer on Broadway and in the Ziegfeld Follies. She made her film debut in 1916 and quickly became a major star for Universal, starring alongside Rudolph Valentino in "The Delicious Little Devil" and "Big Little Person" in 1919, and with John Gilbert in "The Merry Widow" in 1925. Like many of her contemporaries, her career declined with the advent of sound film, and she retired from acting in 1931. 8 x 10 inches.
