Among the acts contained in the printing of this session are one for incorporating the Cumberland Canal and another for incorporating the Falmouth Canal, both in the then-District of Maine. Another act transfers the light-house on Brant Point at the entrance to the harbor of Nantucket to the United States; in another Nantucket-related act, the name of the town of Sherburn was changed to Nantucket.
