The il…lustrations are paintings, not photographs, so details of thread or knot count are not possible. The 38 textiles include piled carpets, kilims, bags, pillow cases, bed coves; many of the plates are of parts of the textiles showing details of designs. The examples look old, and at least certainly produced before 1961 when this book was published. Book.
