The final page of the adverts at the back has a small closed tear at the top with some creasing around this at the top corner. Spotting to the insides of the covers and the first and last few pages and the pages are browned both otherwise unmarked. Illustrated by Jill Riches, R Glyn Jones, Mal Dean and Derek Twiss. Originally published Allison & Busby in 1972. The boards have tape marks to the front and rear panels and bumping to the top corner of the front panel. There is a spine lean and the page edges are browned with some heavy spotting to the top edges. Tape marks to the endpapers with some tearing and label residue to the front free endpaper. Library stamp to the copyright page. There are spots and marks to a few pages with creasing to the corners in a few places but the pages are otherwise generally unmarked. The jacket has creasing to the edges, rubbing to the corners and a half-inch closed tear at the bottom of the spine. Illustrated by Richard Glyn Jones with a title page by Mal Dean.
