Royal octavo; hardcover, with silver-gilt spine and upper board titles and decoration; 86pp., with a map, some monochrome illustrations and 12 colour plates. Minor wear; some slight insect damage to the spine; text block edges lightly toned; offset to the endpapers. Dustwrapper is well rubbed and edgeworn with some marks; chipping and small tears to the flap-turns and spine panel extremities; now professionally protected by non-adhesive polypropylene film. Very good.
