Bon état (cartonnage lég. frotté). Peu courant. Sainte-Beuve fait ainsi l'éloge de ce charmant recueil : "Mussonville, c'est l'agréable maison de campagne d…u petit séminaire de Bordeaux. L'auteur, que je crois pouvoir nommer sans indiscrétion, et qui est M. l'Abbé B.-R. Manceau, dans ses vers faciles, animés d'une douce gaieté et d'une piété riante, a quelque chose d'un Gresset resté au séminaire, et rappelle quelquefois aussi le ton de sentiment du poëte catholique breton, M. Turquéty. A défaut de l'Hymette, il aspire à être l'abeille du Carmel. Ce sont des vers aimables et bien nés". Le petit séminaire était alors situé à l'emplacement actuel du Lycée Gustave Eiffel, et sa maison de campagne à Bègles, où l'on trouve désormais le parc et la chapelle de Mussonville, près de Villenave d'Ornon (Causeries, V, 384) Langue: Français.
