Unframed, loose and not glued or mounted. Portfolio of 12 color lithographs printed by Mourlot Freres, Paris. Each is plate signed "Mane-Katz". This is…number 28 of an edition limited to 300 and is complete. ---- ---- This 1966 portfolio was created by Mane Katz after Shalom Aleikhem's story "Stempeniou". The lithographs are preceded by a long, illustrated introduction about Mane-Katz by Pierre Mazars. The introduction is in French. It is bound in linen covered hard front and back tied together, all three ties are present. The linen flaps are in fine condition. It was published by Boston Book & Art Shop, Boston; but printed in France "Pour Stempeniou De Cholem Aleikhem" with "Preface De Pierre Mazars".
