No dust jacket (i.e. lacking). Half-leather binding - leather spine and blue cloth boards with leather corners. Some scuffing and darkening to leather; spin…e's lettering still fairly bright; light staining to front board. Dark blue top edge. Sewn-in blue silk ribbon page marker. Interior pages are clean. Binding retains some crispness. With four foldout maps and ten b/w illustrations (frontispiece portrait of British colonial administrator Warren Hastings replaced with portrait of Pancen Lama Lobzang Paldan-yeshes at editor Kuloy's discretion).
