Trotz der oft unwahrscheinlichen Dramatik des Geschehens um diese Piloten und ihre Maschine, ist keine Seite dieses Buches etwa Fantasie. Namen und alle Orte der Geschichte sind ebenso echt, wie die Geschichte selbst, die unbekannt geblieben war, bis zum Erscheinen dieses Tatsachenberichtes.
