Die Kette von Augenblicken, ihre Vergänglichkeit, ihre Herrlichkeiten, ihre Schrecken wiederherstellen. Manchmal lang an der Genauigkeit arbeiten: Wärme, Kälte, Geräusche, Gerüche, Farbe, Licht, Schatten, so jederzeit hervor-, zurück-, abrufbar machen, was es war, das man lebte, was es denn ist, das man lebt. Die langen Gedichte haben eine andere Motivation. Mich plagt Geschichte. Buchenwald. Vietnam, Griechenland, Chile. Oder Wiederholungen der Geschichte: Radikalenerlasse, Berufsverbote. Oder Zukünftiges: Umweltzerstörung, Plutoniumindustrie. Es sind nicht die glücklichen Augenblicke, wenn ich mich engagieren muß. Es ist ein Kampf gegen Kriege, Unterdrückung, Ausbeutung, gegen Archetypen, Ungeheuer, die mich verletzen, denn ich bin nackt und waffenlos, weil ich sie nur mit Wörtern angehen kann. Margarete Hannsmann geboren 1921 in Heidenheim/Württemberg. Lebt zur Zeit in Stutt- gart. Arbeitete in verschiedenen Berufen, als Schauspielerin, Lebensmittelhändlerin, Annoncenacquisiteuse, Puppenspielerin. Schreibt Lyrik, Prosa, Hörspiele. Den für diesen Band ausgewählten Gedichten liegen zugrunde: ?Das andere Ufer vor Augen" (1972), ?Fernsehabsage" (1974), ?Aufzeichnungen über Buchenwald" (1978).
