Green spider-web patterned boards, cloth back, titles to spine and front cover gilt. Forman Brown was one of the world's leaders in puppet theatre in his day, as well as an important early gay novelist. He was a member of the Yale Puppeteers and the driving force behind the famous Turnabout Puppet Theater in Los Angeles. This is his first book, a poetry collection. ##### Frontispiece and 3 full-page woodcuts by Packard, all with spider-web patterned glassine guards. (1929) ##### CONDITION: Near fine, corners and edges lightly rubbed. Front pastedown chafed, probably from removal of a bookplate. In good+ dustjacket chipped at corners and spine ends; not price-clipped. Inscribed by Author(s).…
