Pour les envois à l'étranger, il est préférable de me consulter sur les frais de port avant d'acheter. En effet le tarif "livres et brochures", très économique, est supprimé depuis le 1er juillet 2025. Le montant des frais de port pour les envois à l'étranger est désormais beaucoup plus élevé. Par ailleurs les envois de marchandises aux ERtat-Unis sont suspendus jusqu'à nouvel ordre par la poste française. Il est donc inutile actuellement de passer commande depuis ce pays.

Soft cover. Condizione: Very Good. Original publisher's brown wrapper with staple binding. 6 1/4" x 9 1/2." Seven pages, complete. Text is in French. Pages and covers are very clean and intact, but there is fading to the covers (although not as apparent on front cover, the back cover indicates both covers were originally green but have faded to brown). Staple has not rusted. A brief history of the Jacques Doucet Library and some of the books and items stored there. Excerpt from the first page: "En 1918, Jacques Doucet fit don a l'Universite de Paris de la Bibliotheque d'Art et d'Archeologie. Quand it mourut, en 1929, il lui donna sa bibliotheque personnelle, uniquement litteraire, formant le voeu que toutes deux fussent reunies. La Bibliotheque d'Art et d'Archeologie etait alors installee dans l'hotel Rothschild, et de facon provisoire. La place y etant tres mesuree, le voeu du donateur ne put etre accompli. M. le Recteur Charlety prit alors l'initiative d'installer la Bibliotheque litteraire dans une partie de la reserve de la Bibliotheque Sainte-Genevieve. Cette installation s'est revelee des plus heureuses. Les armoires de chene, dessinees par Labrouste lui-meme, mettent en valeur les belles reliures qu'elles contiennent, et elles sont assez nombreuses pour abriter encore nombre de volumes. Le fonds Doucet compte 8.000 ouvrages, soit environ 20.000 volumes. Il se compose des auteurs les plus marquants du vingtieme siecle et de ceus du dix-neuvieme qui ont ete leurs pres curseurs.".
