The ultimate objective of science is to find harmony; some visualize it as tracing the "hand of god" in creation. No wonder that most disruptive scientists are also religious. Religion is seen as a proto-paradigm and early theory of the universe in that it assumes that there is harmony and coordination among all things. Religion was the first theory in science. It is not distinct from science but an evolutionary stage. Now, with the development of Artificial Intelligence (AI), we have a new post-science paradigm. AI is already finding alternative physics; we could be faced with a technology that provides us with all the answers, yet without understanding how we got those answers.
