(B&W photographs) 24-page booklet (not including covers). Illustrated with four full-page photographs, three of which are credited "from SS-general Stroop's album." (This would be Jürgen Stroop, a German SS…commander who served in occupied Poland and Greece; he led the suppression of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising in 1943, among other war-criminal acts. After the war, he was tried at the Dachau Military Tribunal for having ordered the execution of a number of Allied POWs and sentenced to death; before the sentence was carried out, however, he was extradited to Poland, where he was tried on multiple other war-related charges, sentenced (again) to hang, finally strung up in 1952 -- fittingly, at a prison in Warsaw. He was the author of a document about the Warsaw Ghetto operation known as "the Stroop report," which was later entered into evidence at the Nuremberg trials (although he himself was not a defendant there); per Wikipedia, the report was "annexed with many original documents and pictures," presumably including the three reproduced in this small publication.
