Para tal, estudámos os efeitos da exposição a Cd sozinhos ou complementados com Zn em vários parâmet…ros ao nível do organismo (evolução do peso corporal, relação hepato-somática e consumo de leite) e ao nível dos tecidos (estado oxidativo hepático, absorção intestinal de Zn, transferência lactacional de Cd e Zn, acumulação dos dois metais no plasma e de certos órgãos dos ratos recém-nascidos).
