Hardcover. Condizione: Good-. Please see photos for condition details. Hardcover, original blind stamped binding with gilt on spine. Inscribed on the front end page showing the original owner was Warrant Officer John A. Brisco, listed as Boatswain of the USS St. Lawrence with a date of October 11, 1862 in the Key West. The exterior shows quite a bit of spotting and chipping along with edge and corner bumps/wear. The top and bottom of spine are also chipped away and there is a tear in the cloth, front board, lower left quadrant. The internal binding is good, no hinge cracks and text pages are tight. There is foxing present throughout along with scattered smudge marks and stains but the only handwriting found is what is pictured on one of the front end pages.
