Edition originale très rare de la thèse de Maraini (1873-1939), un des pionniers de l'urologie moderne en Argentine. Maraini se perfectionna en France (auprès de Guyon et d'Albarran) et surtout en Allemagne (auprès de Nitze et de Casper), avant de devenir chef du service d'urologie et professeur à l'université de Buenos Aires. Cette thèse, composée de dix chapitres, constitue une monographie complète sur la cystoscopie. SALMON Eugène : De l'analgésie par les injections sous-arachnoïdiennes de cocaïne ; application à la chirurgie des voies urinaires. Thèse, Paris, 1900, 54 pp. (papier modérément bruni). Une des premières monographies sur la rachianesthésie, avec celle de Sicard. Cette thèse fut inspirée par Tuffier, pionnier de la rachicocïnisation.
