Mass Market Paperback. Condizione: Poor. Wilkin, R.A. (illustratore). First Edition. The front and rear covers are close to being seperated with tearing along most of the length and while the two parts are attached to the text-block careful handling will be needed to avoid them separating. There is tape along the spine some of which has come off leaving brown marks. The front cover has a torn patch in the top left hand corner. The rear cover has some browning and is a little discoloured in places. Two of the pages towards the centre have six inch long closed tears running up from the bottom edge. The pages are browned and some of them have a few light stains. Includes 'The Mill of the Gods' by Hugi, 'The Three Pylons' by Temple, 'Solar Assignment' by Denholm, 'Knowledge without learning' by Thomas, 'Sweet Mystery of Life' by Fearn and 'White Mouse' by Ayre along with a short editorial by Carnell. Denholm, Thomas and Ayre were all pseudonyms used by Fearn so he actually wrote four of the six stories. Interior illustrations by Bob Wilkin. Second state with different cover art and a price reduced from 2/- to 1/6. I am not sure who the cover artist was for the second state issue. This was issued after the New Worlds No. 2 had been published.
