Very good condition with one tear at the top with a pinhole of loss and a crease in the top half at the center. The entries on the left side provide the names of the family of John Pollard (1729-1814) and E…lizabeth Williams (1738-1816) who lived in Lancaster, Worcester County, Massachusetts. The right side has the names of the family of Gardner Pollard (1774-1850) and Lucy Heywood (1779-1829) who lived in Lancaster and Clinton, Massachusetts. The birth dates of all family members have been written in, along with 3 dates of death for Gardner Pollard's family. The latest date entered was from 1860. The engraving is quite elaborate with a marble archway with female figures on either side. The imprint line at the bottom shows, along with Peter Maverick's name as engraver, "Ransom Hinman, inv., H. Williams, del." Stephens (The Mavericks) 513.
