Hardcover (plasticized boards). First edition. 504p, hundreds of photos, many in color, and many ads. No jacket, as issued. In English, French, and German. The poor photo doesn't do justice to the excellent condition of this book. 50th-anniversary edition of this lavish yearbook of equestrian sport in Europe, the US, and elsewhere (dressage, jumping, eventing, driving, endurance, vaulting, sport horse breeding championships). Includes several feature articles, such as Bill Steinkraus's "Reflections on the Water Jump." as well as competition results. (Wells 264) Very heavy; shipping/handling will be extra. Please keep this in mind when ordering. Due to exorbitant US postage rates, shipping/handling outside the US will be well over $100. Very good and sturdy, much better than often found.
