This was the author's second book, and apparently her only novel. She seems to have subsequently abandoned fiction in favor of the self-help industry: all of her subsequent four books have been in that vein ("What Doesn't Kill You Makes You Stronger," that sort of thing), and in 1974 she founded a Philadelphia-based organization called the Wives-Self-Help Foundation.
