Dafür wurden Interviews und Umfragen mit den Beschäftigten und den Inhabern eines solchen Betriebs geführt. Dabei ergab sich, dass die Entwicklung eines Employer Branding Konzepts, die Nutzung von Personalmarketing für externe Personalbeschaffung, die Einführung eines Onboardingkonzepts und die Rekrutierung ausländischer Fachkräfte passende Maß-nahmen sind. Für die zuletzt genannte Maßnahme ergab sich die dritte Forschungsfrage, die darauf abzielt, die Möglichkeiten und Verfahrensschritte der Rekrutierung ausländischer Fachkräfte zu betrachten. Das beschleunigte Fachkräfteverfahren, als Teil des Fachkräfteeinwanderungsgesetzes, wird als eine geeignete Option gesehen. Aufgrund des demografischen Wandels und der zunehmenden Digitalisierung zeichnet sich für viele Branchen in Deutschland ein Fachkräftemangel ab. Dabei werden von den Unternehmen sowohl Fachkräfte mit akademischer als auch mit beruflicher Ausbildung gesucht.
